“Rediscover your world through the eyes and ears of artists” – Our projects encourage active participation and co-creation by all those who take part. Media artist Wolf Nkole Helzle and sound artist Mirja Wellmann work together to develop site-specific formats in which visual and acoustic perception intertwine on an equal footing. Together with local groups, they design walks in the vicinity of each location. The multimedia art project myMatrix by media artist Wolf Nkole Helzle is a vast cosmos of images of a special kind. Designed as a participatory project involving the local population, thousands of images of a landscape, a city or a region move across a large area indoors or outdoors. These are images that the artist captures with the local population during photographic walks. HEAVEN ON EARTH Masayuki Akamatsu and Wolf Nkole Helzle at the Reutlingen City Library [ [6.9.-16.11.2024]. Masayuki Akamatsu and Wolf Nkole Helzle got to know and appreciate each other at the Ogaki Biennale in Japan in 2004. Since then, they have been in dialogue both artistically and as friends.
