In 1996 I had a dream in which I was simultaneously an old Indian, a seasoned man from Bach's time and myself. The transformation of this dream into a small work with the aid of a morphing programme represents the beginning of an "investigation" which I have been carrying out without interruption ever since with the question: "What does it mean to be a six-billionth (*1)?".
